What is Content Calendar?
A schedule that plans what marketing content to create and publish across channels over days, weeks, or months.
A content calendar is the operational backbone of multifamily social and digital marketing. It maps out what to post, when, and on which channels — covering Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, email, blog, and onsite signage. Good calendars balance promotional content (concessions, floor plans) with community storytelling (events, resident life, staff spotlights).
Without a calendar, teams default to reactive posting: scrambling when a unit sits vacant or when corporate requests a campaign with 24 hours' notice. Calendars create space for seasonal planning — pool season, back-to-school, holiday hours — and help enforce a healthy mix of post types.
Modern content calendars connect planning to creation and publishing. Teams can ideate in the calendar, generate on-brand designs from templates, route posts through approval, and schedule directly to social platforms — reducing the friction between "we should post this" and "it's live."
